Crocuses are up
We’ve had sunny weather for a week. I planted pea seeds (and nicked and soaked the sweet pea seeds to plant tomorrow) and took the usual stroll to see what has come up. Crocus!
For more flowers in general, you’ll always enjoy Flowers For Today, and do visit Blooming Friday when you get the chance. What about more macros at Macro Monday?
New navigation: Now you can always get back to the latest entry here by clicking on the “Sara’s Fave Photos” title in the header, no matter where you’ve wandered in the blog. I invite you to click on the categories or tags on the left, or whatever strikes your fancy today. Hope you enjoy your visit.
Ha ha – I did crocus too! Same variety and all, mine was just closer up. I did take one today that’s almost identical to that one. Don’t we get excited about our first spring flowers???
The weather must be warming up for you finally. Yippee! I love your crocuses. What gorgeous colours! Hope you have a great week Sara!
What gorgeous colors and I love spring flowers:)
We have to wait for crocus flowering in the garden.
But I have some blooming in the sunroom;)
Lovely shots!!
Oh how wonderful to have flowers in the garden now!
These are really beautiful! I’m so jealous that you have flowers coming up already and we’re still expecting more snow. 🙂
Lucky you to have Spring so soon! Still waiting for the snow to melt on the East Coast.
Beautiful picture!
Very unusual coloured crocuses – aren’t they lovely? Very nice photo!
Hi Sara, this close-up of your crocus is spectacular. I am looking forward to seeing a few around here before long. Have to get rid of all this snow first though 🙂
I wondered if you would consider being a guest friend and share some of your favorite flower photos with us on the Today’s Flowers home page? Your name would be added to the list for one of the Sunday’s posts and we would let you know which date yours would be shown. If you are interested please contact me at:

They are gorgeous!!! I love crocus! But all we see around here is whiteness still.
Lovely to se your crocus. Here, instead, there is a lot of snow. I envy you your spring time. Have a nice weekend.

Such lovely flowers! Can’t wait to see crocus in my garden…
Hello there
Thats a lovely picture.
I found your blog through Kartarina’s. I am really hoping that maybe next month I will be able to take some photos of crocus as I am quite new to taking photos of flowers. There’s no sign here in my garden of even a crocus shoot. I think its going to be a late spring here in Scotland.
