Flower border

Took this yesterday in the brilliant sunshine we had so briefly. It’s the flower border we put in two summers ago. Not too bad for just getting established. I’m trying to use fewer and fewer annuals so it will just do its thing, but of course there must be flowers continuously spring through fall, if at all possible. I’m working on it. The veggie beds are to the right.

   What a splendid flower bed. I’ve been working hard at trying to get a nice flower bed in front of my home, but certain flowers seem to dominate.

   Border are so lovely. I’m working on establishing mine also…we’re having record heat so watering is needed here. Weeds going strong tho!
