Blue chair shadows
Even though it can get quite dark in northern and cloudy Seattle in the fall and winter, when the sun does come in a south-facing window it’s glorious, low-angled light. This was taken in my living room, just the other day. Can you tell it’s my absolute fave place to sit?

That is a fantastic place to spend some time. Love the shadows and the sunlight coming into the room.
I can indeed see why it would be a favorite place! It certainly would be for me! How lovely! And such delightful shadows for the day! We have had some lovely sun today, haven’t we? Hope you’re having a great weekend, Sara!

I love everything about this photo, beautiful shadows but so too are the chair and the view!
What a lovely photo, and what a gorgeous view outside that window! If you are the gardener responsible for that landscape, I would imagine you don’t often get a chance to sit.
Lovely shadows. I would enjoy this spot to sit too! It would be hard to move away from it. 🙂
Looks like a cozy and comfy place for a nap! 🙂
My entry is here
What a perfect nesting spot. Cup of tea, good book….cozy and beautiful.
What a nice view you have, along with that comfy chair.
Happy Blue Monday, Sara!
A big nice, blue chair, relaxing with a big glass of tea. Nothing better.
Sara:exquisite study of still life. The”star”, if you will, of this shot is the draceana plant shadow at the upper-right part of the chair, That really makes this pic.–also,
the visual”echo” of leaf in the far left front puts it away.Textbook study of shadow
and light.
