Pink lupine

Sunshine today, sunshine this weekend, yay and yay! Went out and snapped a million (well, a few) photos in the late afternoon light, of course my fave, considering I am not a morning person by any means. The lupines did remarkably well this winter. I think it was so cold this spring that the slugs stayed sleeping and let them get going unmolested. I planted these from seed maybe three years ago and look at them!

   Your flowers are so pretty. I grew up in Seattle, and now, in California, I think we are outdoing you with the rain! Ha! Happy PS..enjoy your sunshine!

   Purple lupines are everywhere, but I don’t recall ever seeing a pink one. Nice shot!

   The sun offers the changing shade of purple on these lovely flowers. Blue and lavender jump at me, the later-in-the-day solar effects are wonderful, the soft pastels a pleasure to view!

   We have lupines growing wild everywhere in Nova Scotia, Canada. I love them. They add such color to the landscape. Yours are beautiful, Sara!!

    Lupines are wonderful even though some people over here think they are weeds. I have several to and I don’t mind if they take over some more space 🙂
