Geranium ‘Mrs. Pollack’
At an after-hours meeting at Seattle’s Volunteer Park Conservatory about their campaign for needed restoration, of course I couldn’t help taking a few photos. Thank goodness that the last time I was there I snapped a photo of the cheat sheet they had posted, a key to the outdoor plantings, so I know that this amazing geranium is called ‘Mrs. Pollack. Even though it’s just coming into flower, that hardly matters with foliage like this.

This is the most amazing geranium. Not only is Mrs.. Pollock ‘s bloom dainty and lovely, but the coloration of her leaves is drop dead gorgeous. My, would I love to have some of them in my garden. Your macro capture is an awesome one. A fine shot. Genie
Wow, thats a nice flower.
My Geranium played fiddled to my computer, but she is faithful and still gives me flowers.
Wonderful capture of a lovely flower. Well done.
Mrs. Pollack certainly is a beauty. Those leaves are amazing as a backdrop to that one little bud. Very nice!
Mrs. Pollack is no Plain Jane, that’s for sure!
PRAISE FOR RED
What is there about the color red
That makes me want to stand on my head,
And give a loud shout or two of praise
For crimson tints that brighten my days?

Bits of red here and here
Beautiful macro work!!
One of my favorite flowers well captured!
Love the background!!!
Indeed, it has a very showy multicolor foliage but the red flower is pretty too.
Stunning flower!
My entry.
That’s an amazing color for a geranium. Even just the leaves are wonderful enough to have in a garden. I posted variegation or chimera today, and that one is a wonderful example! You have many posts here, huh! thanks.
I love this photo! The leaves in the background show what the rest of the plant looks like, without taking anything away from the blossoms!
O desfoque ao fundo destaca o vermelho da flor em primeiro plano. Lindo! [Blurring the background stands the red flower in the foreground. Beautiful!]
