Pink bougainvillea in my living room
We have a “tree” (standard) bougainvillea in a pot that we put on the sunny patio in the summer and bring inside when it gets cool. It’s very sensitive and usually loses all its leaves in protest when it is moved, in or out. This year it forgave us, as I babied it as much as possible. And lo! a flower! They are much pinker in July, but I’ll take it.

Its a gorgeous flower in mid winter. I always admire this plant in the garden center but those have smaller flowers. Beautiful.
Lovely capture with wonderful light in this shot, Sara.

Gorgeous! Happy Pink Saturday.
My PINK is here. Please come and see.
Beautiful plant. I especially like the soft pink color and the shadows!
An amazing light effect on this fragile flower! And the shadows framing it all give the flower prime focus in the photo!
The shadow on this beautiful flower is awesome….it’s shape os flawless. We had a hedge of these where we live in Florida and it was so pretty. I still remember it after all of these years. A great macro shot this week. genie
This beauty is bearing the shadows well!

It’s beautiful, love it!
I missed that kind of flowers. It is very typical in Philippines and it is not hard to maintain. They come in different color too:)
Visiting for Pink Saturday! Here’s my share- hope you can stop by:)

Gorgeous bloom. Sounds like you have a green thumb!
I have several of these plants. Have been able to keep them alive for two seasons now. They are in my garage now waiting for spring. Most of mine or red and orange.
You must sing to it!
What a lovely capture of tones, light and contrasts.
This is my favorite climber, but unfortunately does not grow in our gardens. Cute picture. Yours.
How beautiful, and so transparent!
I’m glad you are able to enjoy it in the wintertime. It’s lovely!
We have so many like that….Visiting from SSS!
