Flowering white tree
I took this photo in Connecticut when I was there not too long ago. I am sure it is not a cherry tree, but I don’t know what kind of tree it is. Anyone know? Perhaps an ornamental pear, or something like that? These fine old trees really are amazing in the northeastern U.S. landscape, with everything so totally gray in the winter and then these bursts of blossoms. Yay, Spring!

Great photo! It is still snow outside were I live…
It may be a Pear tree of some sort. We live in NC and have similar looking trees and hey smell like old grease. It’s a shame when something that pretty stinks so badly! 😉 Pretty shot though. Hope you will stop by and say Hi!

You are so right about Spring in the NE. Even with the mild winter we had I couldn’t wait for all of the beauty of Spring! I love all of the puffy white flowers in your photo.
Beautiful tree. I definitely love that image! Stopping by from Outdoor Wednesday.
That’s such a pretty photo! I love looking up through the blossoms on the tree.
This is so beautiful! Love it!
The branches do look like an ornamental pear. I would have to see the tree shape and a closer photo to be more certain.
Very pretty photo. I have no idea what the names of trees or flowers are. I just know that I love them.
Delightful photo, Sara!
Thank you for participating in Floral Friday Fotos!
what a great shot! 🙂
