One pink peony
This is the first peony bloom from my garden this year. It’s very large, about as big as my hand spread open. I wish I could send you the soft, delicate fragrance, which matches the looks so well. Don’t you wish you could just have a bed of them to lie on? Not that I would be able to, of course, but I love the idea.
You might take a peek at Macro Monday, Today’s Flowers, Weekend Flowers, Pink Saturday, Floral Friday, and SOOC Sunday (straight out of the camera), if you have time. Remember that clicking on Sara’s Fave Photos Blog above will bring you to the complete photoblog experience here.
Very nice work. Have a wonderful Wordless Wednesday.
So pretty! Happy WW 🙂
lovely.
I had terrible luck trying..and I say trying…to grow a peony.
I love peonies! Wish they were in bloom a bit longer…
Lovely bloom indeed. Yes, some improvement in technology is required to spread the fragrance too. 🙂
So pretty! Of course, I love anything pink — and peonies are among my favorites.
You’ve really captured the fluffiness, Sara. Too bad it always rains here and makes them droop.
They are one of my favorites. I have white, red, pink, and purple. Happy WW!
Ah, heavenly.♥
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the delicate petals of a peony.
what a beautiful flower heart! thanks for sharing with us 🙂
What an absolutely beautiful bloom! I am waiting for mine to open – barely at the bud stage at this point because they are in the shade.
Gorgeous!
Lovely pink peony. They are such beautiful flowers. I have had them in my yard at several houses that I have lived in. I always enjoyed them very much.
Ah! Stunning!
Thank you for participating in Floral Friday Fotos.
