Red and pink rose bouquet
In a break after the rain began the other day, I went out front and cut all the roses that were opened. They just get yucky if they stay wet for any length of time, so they might as well come inside and dry off. I usually don’t do such a big cutting of roses, preferring to keep them in the garden for everyone’s enjoyment, but since much rain was predicted, what else could I do?

Gorgeous roses.

Gorgeous. Utterly gorgeous. Thanks for sharing such loveliness. Susan
Glad you brought them in. I love roses and truly enjoyed your lovely ones.
Very pretty!
Your bouquet is genuine and natural. I also have been scrambling to get a few roses before the rain scatters the petals.

Happy Pink Saturday, Sara. I tend to do the same thing. They do get yucky if they stay outside wet and droopy. And, I always tend to leave more outside than I bring in. But, my sweet husband did cut some and bring to to me today.♥
Pretty roses!
How wonderful to be able to go out in your garden even after the rain and find so many gorgeous roses to share. They make a lovely photo. Thanks for sharing them with Today’s Flowers Sara and have a great week 🙂
These roses look splendid on display in the vase! Beautiful rich tones!
There is nothing quite as romantic as a rose. There may be more exotic and colorful flowers in the garden, but the rose is like the comfort food of flora. One just feels better in their presence. Nicely captured.
Gorgeous roses, and the aroma would be magnificient.
fragrant and aromatic fresh roses!
I can imagine the wonderful fragrance of these. Great shot!
