‘Julia Child’ rose
Oh the joy, two new rosebushes for an anniversary gift. This beauty is ‘Julia Child,’ named in homage to the queen of butter.

Butter yellow rose, as it should be, named after American icon Julia Child. And sweetly fragrant as well.

Rose color is soft, sweet, creamy and buttery just the way I want to begin today, Monday.. Thank you, Sara. You, enjoy a beautiful day , too!
That is such a beautiful rose. I have rather given up on roses, because of all the black spot here. The only ones that don’t get it are my knockout roses and my rugoses.

That is so very beautiful!!!
What a lovely color! I wonder how it got named – did Julia Childs propagate roses?

I love roses, especially yellow ones. Too bad we are moving towards getting our garden into more of a succulent garden. We took out many rose bushes a month ago when we started fixing our backyard.
According to Julia Child! I have seen the movie, Meryl Streep as Julia. What a beautiful rose & great photo. Happy Midsummer Sara!
