Frittilaria at the flower show

Back in February, frittilaria at the NW Flower & Garden show in Seattle—soon appearing in your backyard, if you planted some bulbs.

Delightful frittilaria, also known as “checkered tulips,” are pretty easy to grow in the garden

    I saw the first frittilaria at a local garden last week. The common variety in the UK is called ‘Snake’s head’.
