Spring hosta leaves

Sometimes I like the emerging plants and buds better than the final thing. From the archives, hosta leaves unfurling in April.

Springtime sky

Looking through the archives for some sunshine, found this one of magnolia branches against the sky, taken one April day. You’re welcome.

Pink tulip

This tulip is on its way out, but the graceful petal forms still enchant me.

Lilacs in the rain

I do love lilacs. They look good even in this wettest year ever in Seattle.

Two apple trees

A couple of days ago, the two columnar apple trees near my patio looked like this, not quite blooming. Wonder what two warm and sunny days will do?

Bluebells and forget-me-nots, a pruned grapevine, and two columnar apple trees almost in bloom. Scallions (green onions) blooming at lower left, and a multi-graft plum tree in the distance.

Yellow curb

This is one of those images I don’t really have a title for, and don’t really know why I love it, but I keep wanting to look at it, so there might be something there for you, too.
