Longboarder on Dungeness Bay
On a recent morning, this woman was calmly paddling her board across the shallow waters out towards the deeper waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, or all the way to Canada for all I know. I love the look of still water, and reflections are a bonus.

Whoa! Beautiful capture!
Cool. Peaceful & beautiful. Happy WW!
What a peaceful and beautiful shot with a stunning reflection in that gorgeous water. Well done.
That’s a beautiful shot. You had a rare opportunity and did a nice job.
I haven’t seen such smooth, glassy water like this in years!
STORMY SEA link for you; hoping you’ll stop by!! Happy September!!!!
How still, wish I was out there too!
This is a beautiful reflection.
the water in this photo just pops. Great.
they look so alone out there…
beautiful.
You captured an amazing shot here.
I cannot express enough how I love this photo.
The minimal disturbance of the waters and the solitude of the boater….all so very cool.

Wow — what an absolutely beautiful shot.
Such a beautiful shot. Love it.
That looks like fun as long as the water remains calm like that. Love all the blue tones you captured and the longboarder in his wetsuit really add a touch of mystery. Enjoy the day!
This is truly an amazing scene of this lake and the lone lady. I would never do what she is doing. It is a beautiful feature for today.
Amazing photograph and I do wonder how long this lady kept at it. She must have incredibly strong arms and back!!

I love this shot!
What a calm day out there. Lovely shot.
Great capture…I don’t think I could stand up on one of those for too long…I’d be in the water!
I wish I were there in her place!
Lovely reflection.
Beautiful moment capturing a lone figure crossing a huge expanse of softly rippling water!
the water is so still, looks like she is just standing and doing nothing. Here in Auckland, I went to a very rough sea, and that was real challenging for a man paddling.
That is such a cool photo!
Very nice, Sara!
What a beautiful scene.
Happy Labor Day and Happy Blue Monday!
My Blue Monday.
Gorgeous picture, just breathtaking.
Wow, I don’t think I’d be able to do that! Great pic!
