Soaking pea seeds
We’ve had three days of really nice weather—dry and not too cold. Time to start peas outside! I like to soak them for a few hours before they go in the ground. So exciting to be planting something for spring.

really? just like that? soaking beans for a few hours and then planting them??? I have to try.
Klara, these are peas, not beans. They are ready to plant outside where it is still very cold here, but not frosty. If you are in a warm climate, you can plant beans the same way. I usually do string beans this way, but only when the soil is nice and warm. Have fun!
Yes, that is really exciting. Lucky you. We still have snow.
It’s good to look forward to spring!
I’m glad to see you this week at ‘My Corner of the World’!
I love this! I am still a ways away from planting seeds, but I am so ready!! Thanks for linking up!
We have started our vegetable garden already.
So early! We have a terrible snow storm today with many bad car crashes.
Did not know planting peas is that easy! I am the only one who eats peas, so I’ll wait for something else you plant:) Thank you for sharing this easy method with All Seasons! Have a fruitful week, Jesh
Oh wow! I do love plating vegetables even if I am not very fond of eating them to be honest and now I know how to plant peas thanks to your post!
Lots of folks readying their garden this year. Fun to watch.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
Time to plant—thank goodness!
Beautiful informative post, great idea to induce germination. Thanks for joining in Garden Affair.
